О турнире
Весной 2022-го года РФСОО «Федерация шахбокса РТ» учредила серию детско-юношеских турниров в подростковом клубе «Бокс» под названием «Elephant Arena». С интервалом две недели состоялось три мероприятия с 10-го апреля по 15-ое мая, в которых приняли участие порядка 150-ти детей.
В турнире «Elephant Arena» соревнования проходят в нескольких дисциплинах. Это шахбокс, бокс и блиц турнир по шахматам. Самые младшие и начинающие спортсмены боксируют в формате лайт-контакт, где исключены жесткие акцентированные удары. За этим в ринге следит рефери, а боковые судьи оценивают владение техническими элементами бокса.
В рамках турнира РФСОО «Федерация шахбокса РТ» подводит итоги уходящего спортивного года. В 2022-м советником по стратегическому развитию Алексеем Абрамовым была учреждена номинация «Шахбоксер года». Специальный приз получил Эдуард Медведев, показавший лучшие результаты в разделах бокса и шахмат на протяжении спортивного сезона.
Идеология
«Elephant Arena» – является площадкой, где каждый ребенок имеет возможность проявить свои лучшие качества. В шахматах – стратегическое мышление, способность концентрироваться на интеллектуальных задачах. В боксе тактические навыки и физические качества. Лайт-контакт позволяет преодолеть страх перед выступлением на ринге и без травм продемонстрировать приобретенные на тренировках умения.
Судейство на турнирах осуществляется молодыми независимыми специалистами, студентами отделения единоборств Поволжского государственного университета физической культуры, спорта и туризма. Для улучшения качества выносимых решений был проведен семинар для судей. Ключевой задачей для нас является – беспристрастное судейство, при котором соблюдается принцип честной игры (fair play).
Будущее турнира
РФСОО «Федерация шахбокса РТ» ставит перед собой задачу развития турнира «Elephant Arena», чтобы каждый участник смог реализовать свои лучшие качества.

The Elephant Arena — Chessboxing, Boxing and Chess Tournaments for kids
About the tournament
In the spring of 2022, the Chessboxing Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan established a series of youth tournaments in the boxing teenage club called Elephant Arena. With an interval of two weeks, three events took place from April 10 to May 15, in which about 150 children took part.

Within the framework of the tournament «Chessboxing Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan», the results of the outgoing sports year are summed up. In 2022, Strategic Development Adviser Alexey Abramov established the Chess Boxer of the Year nomination. A special prize was given to Eduard Medvedev, who showed the best results in boxing and chess throughout the entire sports season.

Refereeing takes place among young people living in the martial arts departments of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. To improve the quality of decisions made, a seminar for judges was held. The key task for us is impartial refereeing, which respects the principle of fair play.
The future of the tournament
«Chessboxing Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan» sets itself the task of developing the «Elephant Arena» tournament, so that each participant can realize their potential of the best quality.
